SKU Cloud – Terms & Conditions update for Sellers

SKU Cloud’s goal is to grow sales for Sellers across our network of Destination channels. This means the orders you receive from us will no longer just be from customers.

Introducing you to a SKU Cloud

Because we’ll be pushing your inventory to new audiences across the web, it felt like the right time to review and update the Terms and Conditions you agreed to when you became a Flubit merchant.

Before explaining the main change, it is worth dispelling any fears you might have!

  • We are not adding any fees – selling on SKU Cloud is still free
  • We are not altering our payment terms so you’ll still enjoy quick and efficient disbursement

The main aesthetic change you’ll notice throughout the new T&Cs is that we’ve swapped the name Flubit for SKU Cloud. Other than that, the only significant change is to Clause 10: Merchant Terms & Policies & Compliance.

These are the T&Cs we display to users before they buy from you, and are necessary because the contract of sale arising from that sale is between you and the customer.

With the launch of SKU Cloud, we have created a new standardised version of these Terms that all sellers will trade according to. This new version is compliant with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and Consumer Rights Act 2015, ensuring that all SKU Cloud sellers trade according to the same minimum levels of service. This includes giving customers:

  • 14 days to cancel an order from receiving delivery
  • Access to a model cancellation form
  • 30 days to reject goods that are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund

These are normal e-commerce trading regulations that you no doubt already offer. By standardising these for all SKU Cloud Sellers and sales, we are protecting both you and your customers.
